OUR UNIQUE APPROACH TO SUPPORTING BUSINESS CLIENTS:
As part of Purpose Advisory's unique Business Consultancy services, we engage members of our PH support team into the businesses of our clients, where they assist in delivering projects, improving processes, and completing important tasks. Alongside completing regular tasks and functions for Purpose Advisory, many of our PH support team will also work directly for and with our clients, juggling their own standard tasks, alongside interesting new external projects. In this regard, we operate partly like an agency. And in certain cases, where it's mutually desired, our staff will transition to full time work for one particular business and remain with them long term.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Video Co and Social Media Manager. This role will be responsible for managing visual assets for our webstore, overseeing social media management, leading webstore marketing strategies, and contributing to brand marketing and social media strategies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create compelling visuals for both digital and print platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Video Production and Editing
- Edit and Produce Video Content: Lead the creation of video content, from raw footage to finished pieces, for social media, web platforms, and marketing campaigns.
- Short-Form Video Creation: Develop engaging short-form video content, including reels, stories, and social media shorts, to capture audience attention and drive engagement.
- Post-Production Expertise: Handle key post-production tasks such as color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects to ensure professional-quality outputs.
- Content Storytelling: Shape a compelling narrative through effective editing techniques that align with brand messaging and marketing goals.
2. Social Media Video Strategy
- Develop Video Content Strategies: Collaborate with the marketing team to create a comprehensive video strategy for social media platforms, targeting increased engagement and brand growth.
- Monitor Video Performance: Track and analyze video performance metrics to refine content strategy and improve reach, views, and engagement across all platforms.
3. Visual Asset Creation for Webstore
- Video and Graphic Integration: Design and implement video elements and animated graphics for webstore banners, product showcases, and promotional materials to enhance the shopping experience.
- User Experience Optimization: Ensure all visual and video assets are optimized for web performance and are aligned with the brand’s visual identity.
4. Creative Video Content for Brand Marketing
- Conceptualize Marketing Videos: Work with the marketing team to brainstorm, storyboard, and execute video concepts that align with broader brand marketing strategies.
- Cross-Platform Content Adaptation: Adapt video content for different digital platforms, ensuring each piece fits the specific format and audience expectations of platforms like YouTube, Instagram,
5. Support for Store and Billboards
- Offline Video and Motion Graphics: Develop and edit video loops or animations for in-store displays, digital signage, and billboards to support offline marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with Vendors: Work closely with external vendors to ensure video content is seamlessly integrated into physical marketing campaigns.
6. National Brand and Local Brand Support
- Unified Video Messaging: Manage the video content for the national brand while ensuring consistency across local brand social media efforts, delivering aligned messaging and tone.
- Localized Content Creation: Produce and edit localized video content that supports regional marketing initiatives while maintaining the overarching brand narrative.
7. Video-Centric EDMs and Social Media Content Scheduling

8. Project Management and Delivery
- Meet Deadlines: Effectively manage video production timelines, ensuring timely delivery of all video projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design, social media management, and webstore marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software.
- Strong understanding of branding and social media best practices.
- Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively.
Practical Requirements:
- Availability 5 days/week, Sydney office hours (willing to be flexible, but we need to align calendars)
