Video Editor

We're seeking a highly skilled and creative video editor to join our team full-time. As a content creator and influencer, our primary focus is on producing engaging long-form and short-form content for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to bring our vision to life through captivating video editing.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the content creator to understand their vision and goals for each piece of content.
Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Implement creative transitions, effects, and sound design to enhance viewer engagement.
Cut video footage to optimize pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
Source and incorporate relevant music or sound effects to complement the content.
Conduct daily research to stay updated on trends and successful strategies within the content creation and influencer space.
Provide feedback and suggestions based on analysis of similar creators' content.
Participate in regular video chat meetings (2-3 times per week) to brainstorm, plan, and execute content ideas effectively.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor, preferably within the realm of content creation or digital media.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of storytelling principles and narrative structure.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram platforms and their respective content formats.
Creative thinker with a passion for exploring new editing techniques and trends.
