JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized HR Head to join our outsourcing company for Filipino remote professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources, preferably in the outsourcing industry, and be skilled in managing HR operations in a remote setting. This role involves staff retention, compliance, training, and relationship building while ensuring HR policies are effectively implemented and adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
1. Staff Retention
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and address concerns promptly to maintain a positive work environment.

2. Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure 100% compliance with company HR policies, including PTO, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Regularly update and amend HR policies and sanctions as required.
- Review and ensure adherence to client and independent contractor agreements.

3. Attendance Management
- Monitor and manage attendance records using Bamboo HR.
- Address attendance-related issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

4. Training & Development
- Design and roll out training and development programs for remote staff.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and tailor training sessions.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with other teams to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Serve as a liaison between management and staff to foster transparency and trust.

6. Staff Relationship Building and Engagement
- Build strong relationships with remote professionals to enhance morale and collaboration.
- Regularly engage with staff through one-on-one sessions, team meetings, and feedback forums.

7. Community Building
- Create and manage initiatives to foster a sense of community among remote professionals.
- Organize virtual events, recognition programs, and group activities.

8. HR Policy Implementation and Amendments
- Oversee the consistent application of HR policies, including sanctions for violations.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose policy updates.

Qualifications

1) Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HR officer, preferably in a remote setting.

2) Industry Knowledge:
- Prior experience in the outsourcing industry is highly preferred.

3) Skills:
- Proficiency in Bamboo HR and other HR management tools.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with client and independent contractor agreements.

4) Traits:
- Emotionally and mentally capable; able to remain calm under pressure.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Coachable and open to continuous learning and feedback.


Other responsibilities:
- Onboard and offboard remote staff
- Help improve and create system policies, processes, contracts, and procedures
- Monitor attendance and leave application
- Coach staff
- Create presentations for HR activities
- Work closely with the Operations Manager for HR-related initiatives.
