Industrial Designer + 3D Modeling

We are keeping our team with us so it's not common but we are growing so we have a new position!

We are ecommerce company established in 2018 and selling on Amazon with our private label that focuses on pet products.

We are looking for an industrial designer with experience in the field who knows how to model 3D designs of products from scratch.
We have set ourselves a goal of producing 15-20 new products every year, and while we are building the product characterization, we are looking for an industrial designer who knows how to take the data from Excel and through precision and creative thinking - model the product in 3D so that we can transfer it to factories.

For full time - part time depends on a few factors.

Responsibilities:
- Product Conceptualization: Translate product ideas and specifications into visually appealing and functional 3D models.
- 3D Modeling: Create detailed and accurate 3D models of products using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Autodesk Inventor).
- Data Integration: Utilize data from Excel sheets and other sources to inform the design process and ensure product specifications are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our development team to refine designs and meet project timelines.
- Prototyping Support: Assist in the creation of physical prototypes to validate design concepts and iterate on improvements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks on 3D models to ensure they meet design requirements, manufacturing feasibility, and quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to optimize design efficiency and product quality.

Requirements and skills:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial design, with a strong focus on 3D modeling and product development.
- Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Inventor, with a demonstrated ability to create complex 3D models from scratch.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve design challenges and bring concepts to life.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and precision, ensuring designs are accurate and meet specified requirements.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.
- Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous work, including 3D models, design concepts, and finished products.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Advantage:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field. Additional certifications or coursework in CAD modeling is a plus.
- Experience in Amazon - specially PL
- Knowing Amazon platform
