Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in record-keeping, reconciling transactions in Xero and maintaining accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:
Reconcile transactions in Xero accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, following up on overdue payments, and ensuring accurate records.
Reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit cards on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements.
Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or financial management roles.
Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
