Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Parts Interpreter/Consultant to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in European vehicle parts, particularly VW, Audi, and BMW. This position requires the ability to accurately identify and recommend the correct parts based on vehicle VIN numbers, providing customers with quotes and exceptional service online or over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize expertise in European vehicle parts, specifically VW, Audi, and BMW, to accurately interpret customer needs.
• Collaborate with customers to identify their specific car part needs and provide expert advice and recommendations tailored to their requirements.
• Identify and recommend the correct parts based on vehicle VIN numbers and customer requirements.
• Provide customers with accurate quotes for parts and any associated services.
• Assist customers online or over the phone in selecting the right parts for their vehicles.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any inquiries or issues promptly.
• Utilize advanced tools and resources to accurately identify and source the correct car parts, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, orders, and inquiries to streamline processes and enhance customer service.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Additional certifications or training in automotive and sales is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in parts sales or auto parts advisory roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of car parts and customer needs.
• Strong knowledge of car parts, particularly VW, Audi, and BMW, and the ability to interpret VIN numbers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in using online platforms and systems for customer interaction and order processing.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with tea
Highly regarded Skills:
• E-commerce experience is advantageous.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
• Knowledge in automotive technology and parts terminology, enhancing understanding and communication with customers.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT
COMPUTER HARDWARE:
• Highly Preferred: MAC Laptop
• Windows-based Computer (Desktop or Laptop)
• Processor: At least Intel Core i5 or equivalent.
• RAM: Minimum 8GB (16GB preferred).
• Storage: At least 30GB of free disk space available.
• Display: Dual Screen Display Monitor (24” widescreen monitor recommended).
• Connectivity: One available USB port for the headset.
• Headset: Noise-canceling headset like Plantronics or Jabra.
COMPUTER SOFTWARE:
• Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (Only).
• Updates: Must have the latest Windows updates installed.
• Antivirus: Must have an antivirus software installed and regularly updated.
• Software Cleanliness: There MUST be no Possible Unwanted Applications (PUA), Malware, or adware installed.
INTERNET SERVICE:
• Should have cable or fiber internet service.
• Minimum upload speed (25mbps)
• Minimum Download Speed (25mbps)
NETWORK:
• Computer must be connected via LAN at least 100MBPS.
• Good reception for WIFI
