Experienced Podcast Editor

We are looking for an experienced and passionate podcast editor to join our team for 2 different podcasts. This is a remote contractor position.

About the Role:
- Edit solo episodes (10-20 minutes) and guest interview episodes (35-45 minutes) for an educational podcast
- Edit audio
- Ability to batch edit multiple episodes at a time
- Workload: Currently 1 episode per week, moving to 2 episodes per week by April for both podcasts

Requirements:
- Fluent in English with a strong understanding of American sarcasm and humor
- Proven experience editing podcasts (audio)
- Excellent audio editing skills
- A passionate interest in podcasting and the ability to follow detailed editing instructions
- Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Communication: ability to communicate, ask questions, make suggestions is a must

Bonus Points:
- Experience with light video editing (adding intro/outro, simple graphics, etc.)
- Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms like Buzzsprout, Libsyn, etc.
