Our client is a school tutoring business that helps students of all abilities achieve their goals through a mix of small group and 1:1 tutoring as well as through publishing study guides.
Job Description:
As a Sales Representative in a customer contact centre, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication and relationship-building with prospective customers. You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound sales calls, engaging with leads, and converting opportunities into sales. This role requires a proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound sales calls to potential customers to promote our products/services and generate leads.
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and provide product information, pricing, and assistance to customers.
- Build rapport with customers through active listening and effective communication techniques.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
- Utilise our proprietary CRM system to manage leads, track sales activities, and update customer information.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the client.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for maximising sales opportunities and improving conversion rates.
- Provide feedback and insights to management on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in a similar customer contact centre role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with training in active listening and closing techniques.
- Proficiency in using office productivity systems, including Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of VOIP systems and experience using them for sales calls.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and maintain high levels of productivity.
Work Schedule:
Thursday - Monday from 10AM - 6PM on weekdays (Thursday, Friday, and Monday) and 8AM - 5PM on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
