Job Description Overview
The Sales Administrator is a key tea
In addition to quoting and general support, this role is responsible for the following: maintaining vendor/partner relations; reviewing and approving product invoices; creating/updating client references; handling annual budget renewal reports; creating, revising and sending engineering rate letters; renewing annual software/licenses; creating and maintaining deal registrations in partner portals; closing quotes and PO’s in a timely manner; maintaining the agenda and taking notes for the weekly sales call; maintaining and updating sales opportunities and various other sales related areas in ConnectWise (CW); processing WON quotes in CW CPQ (previously CW Sell); and more.
This is not an exhaustive list of task/responsibilities.
Knowledge - Education, certifications, courses, training, and experience
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience and skill-based knowledge).
• 3 to 5 min. years in Sales/Marketing industry.
• CW (ConnectWise) CPQ experience, or knowledge of similar products and services quoting software (Quote works, etc.).

Required:
• Excellent Communication in business English (written/oral):
o Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, prospects, partner / vendors via telephone and computer.
o Outgoing and willing to communicate with clients, prospects and partners / vendor as needed.
o Must be willing and able to schedule meetings for sales tea
• Proven self-starter with motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities.
• Ability to be proactive.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Developing knowledge of IT products/services and solutions – Familiarity with frequently used products (Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, Citrix, Cisco, iManage to name a few).
• Knowledge of CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably CW and/or Salesforce.
• Experience with MS Office and internet.
• Technical understanding.
• Relationship building skills, people skills and being a team player - essential.
• Data entry skills.

Work – General - Job Roles and Responsibilities
Job Role: Sales Administrator
Responsibilities:
Required:
• Sales support to Sales Manager / Chief Business Development Officer, and general support to Sales team, as needed.
• Ownership of complete quoting process using CW CPQ for all company sales quotes.
• Admin user for CW CPQ.
• Manage sales opportunities for Professional Services, Managed Services, and products in CW.
• Maintaining vendor/partner relations.
• Creating, maintaining, updating, filing sales department documentation.
• Reviewing, and approving product invoices.
• Creating annual budget renewal reports.
• Creating, revising, and sending engineering rate letters to clients.
• Creating and maintaining deal registrations in partner portals.
• Maintaining the agenda and taking notes for the Weekly Sales Call.
Work – Detail - Job Duties and Tasks (but not limited to)
Tasks:
Handle the items below independently or assist with:
Quoting in CW CPQ
• Build, modify, finalize and distribute all company quotes for:
o Professional Services
o Managed Services
o Products (renewals, subscriptions)
• Coordinate with CSAs (Client System Architect) to create, edit, and deliver quotes.
• Process won quotes.
• Must be detail oriented and able to fine tune quotes and finalize by deadlines.
Admin user for CW CPQ
• Responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
o Add/delete users
o Settings
o Assist with user troubleshooting
o Uploading tax codes
o Template formatting
Sales opportunities in CW
• Professional Services / Managed Services:
o Create, update/maintain, and close opps, as needed
o Convert won opportunities in CW
• Renewals
o Check CW Renewals Board daily/weekly for upcoming renewals
o Create, update/maintain, and close opps, as needed
o Convert won opportunities as part of procurement process
• New (hardware/software)
o Create, update/maintain, and close opps, as needed
o Tracking product/software versions with internal team for potential upgrade/upsell
o Convert won opportunities as part of procurement process
Additional sales related areas in CW
• Manage procurement process with accounting team.
• Review and approve product invoices.
• Maintain/update inventory/configurations catalog.
• Maintain/update product catalog.
• Maintain/update agreements with internal teams.
• Maintain/update renewals board.
Develop and maintain relationships and follow-up with key channel partners, inside sales reps, and vendors.
• Participate in regular meetings with Account Reps, Account Managers, Sales Reps, etc.
• Request for sales quotes, as needed.
Generate Sales reports including, but not limited to:
• Annual budget renewal reports.
• Cornerstone engineering rates to Clients.
Deal Registrations
• Register deals on partner portals, as needed.
Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
• Complete sales exams / certifications as needed, per partner requirements.
• Stay up to date on sales pages on partner websites.
• Attend partner webinars – understand what’s new.
Accomplish department and organization goals
• By accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the position.
