JOB OVERVIEW

Our company belongs to the home services industry where we provide home services (e.g., electrical, plumbing, aircon, handyman, mattress cleaning, etc.) and supply household appliances.

We are looking for individuals who deem themselves competent SEO and content writers. Individuals should also have a passion for performing well in fundamental marketing tasking.

This role necessitates outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities - alongside a penchant for continual learning. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills are essential. While comprehensive expertise in digital marketing is not required, a proactive attitude toward learning and expanding one's knowledge is highly valued.

This job will require you to commit remotely full time from Monday to Friday, 830am - 6pm PHT, and the pay scale ranges from $350 to $550 USD/month - depending on the level of experience.

Your main job responsibilities will include the following:
1. Editing articles for SEO optimisation (Internal linking, Anchor Texts, and Images) including proofreading & fact-checking for errors and inconsistencies before publication.
2. Ensuring consistency of content which includes formatting, fonts, images, and tone.
3. Perform copywriting for marketing materials, social media posts, website content, etc.
4. Monitor SERP rankings of keywords and suggest improvement of content.
5. Coordinating our SEO/Content efforts with the team in areas such as On-page, Off-page, Technical Optimization, keyword research, topic list creation, backlinks strategy, meta title & description, etc.

Your additional job responsibilities will include the following:
1. Develop and implement SEO/Content strategies based on our company’s marketing and business objectives.
2. Develop and follow content publication schedules to ensure that content is delivered timely.
3. Other Ad Hoc Marketing Tasks

Key Requirements:
- A solid background in SEO & Content Marketing, Content Creation, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SEO Content Optimization.
- Experience in producing content for the web (e.g., Blog, Articles, Web Pages, etc.).
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently and follow timelines closely.
- Strong communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- A keen attention to detail and context.
- Willingness to keep yourself updated with the latest SEO & Content Marketing trends.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the following area will be advantageous:
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or any SEO/webmaster tools.
- Experience in leading and managing a small team.
- Liaise with freelance writers and overseas teams for ad-hoc marketing tasks and keep management updated on the team’s performance.

We have solid work processes and SOPs in place that will help you in your assigned tasks. Necessary training will be provided to help you grow your skills and knowledge.

Candidates with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience are preferred. However, candidates with no experience will be considered for the junior position. Necessary training will be provided.
