Job Overview

We seek a skilled and highly motivated WordPress Developer to advise on, create, customize, and manage a series of WordPress websites for a portfolio of businesses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, focusing on creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites. Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and launch WordPress websites: Create customized WordPress websites tailored to the needs of each business in the portfolio, ensuring a unique and on-brand design.
2. Customize WordPress themes and plugins: Leverage premium and custom themes and plugins to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of each website. Develop custom WordPress plugins if needed.
4. Optimize for SEO: Implement best practices in WordPress development to ensure that each website is optimized for search engines, focusing on organic traffic and visibility.
5. Ensure website security: Implement security measures to protect each WordPress website from malware, hacking, and other security threats.
6. Testing and quality assurance: Conduct thorough testing on multiple devices and browsers to ensure compatibility, functionality, and optimal user experience. Resolve any issues or bugs that arise during testing.
7. Provide technical support: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for each WordPress website during the assignment, including updating content, troubleshooting issues, and implementing any requested changes.

Qualifications

1. At least 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development
2. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
3. Experience with premium and custom WordPress themes and plugins
4. Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
5. Familiarity with SEO best practices and web optimization techniques
6. Knowledge of website security and experience with security plugins and measures
7. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work within tight deadlines
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills
