Job Description
Our YouTube channels, focus on a variety of subjects and produces informative and news videos. We are seeking a creative and innovative video editor to join our team. This position will start as part-time but quickly transition to full-time. The goal of the video editor is to create videos that are full of digital graphics that capture a viewer's attention & provides video imagery that syncs with the voice-over subjects seamlesly.
Responsibilities:
Create & edit videos using provided voice-over, ensuring a smooth and professional final product (focusing on engagement and synchrony of VO subjects).
Find and match royalty-free images and videos to complement the voiceover (copyrighted material will not be acceptable).
Add graphics and closed caption-style text to enhance the video's feel and engagement.
Meet a quick turnaround time for editing videos.
Collaborate with our project manager to maintain a consistent brand and style across all videos.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor.
Proficient in using any video editing software.
Strong attention to detail and creativity.
Ability to work under tight deadlines & follow directions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in the field of creative visuals
Experience creating graphics and closed captions
Experience working with a YouTube Channel
