**Who Are We Looking For?** We are seeking a website designer. Someone that is an expert in beautiful graphic website designs. Experienced with UI/UX design and latest best practices. The successful candidate will be able to take several example websites and create a new design from them for our client. You can use the tool of your choice such as Figma or Adobe XD. We are seeking a gig-based relationship, where we hire you occasionally to create new designs as needed. You will be our primary go-to designer for new projects, and we already have a team for development. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** - Design a website’s general look and feel. You will probably design the home page, and several other page types for each site. You may be asked to come up with multiple design concepts for a single site. - You will receive several designs from us to use as reference designs for your design. - Designs are expected to look beautiful and be “on brand” - Designs are expected to take user experience into account, understanding web user behavior, and what drives traffic and conversion. - You will collaborate with the team to tweak the design based on feedback if needed. - You will not be required to build the design - Ideal work hours are in EST for communications - Communicating with the team the status of your work - You will use some tool like Figma or Adobe XD to make the design. Your choice, as long as its able to be used for collaboration. - Maybe also logo design **Requirements** - English Fluency - Reliability and integrity - Responsive: Quick with email and chat communication - Availability: you must be regularly available for design work. - Experience creating custom designs **Preferred Extra Skills [not required]:** These skills would be useful, but they are not required. It is possible that if you also have these skills we may hire you for additional work related to building the site, or updating existing sites. - HTML and CSS proficiency, using CSS to modify designs - Animation or other more advanced web development - WordPress page builder experience - SEO experience - Content creation (text, images etc) - Project Management Experience - Any other advanced plugin knowledge, or advanced WordPress customization If selected, a video interview will be required **To apply for this job:** Respond to this job posting with a message. in the message, do the following: 1.
