Medical Billing and coding

• High school diploma/or equivalent and two plus years of work experience in a medical billing service in an office environment or remotely, which must have included processing electronic claims, claims research, and problem resolution.
• Two years of analysis and resolution of eligibility and billing discrepancies and preparation of financial reports containing consumer data.
• Work experience must include performance of authorization and eligibility verification duties, preferably in a Mental Health setting.
• Previous medical office experience filing third-party insurance claims and appeals preferred.
• NOTE: This position requires computer literacy
