1. Answer calls from clients/facilities who need staff in an emergency, or want to have us hire someone on their behalf.
2. Make calls to caregivers, nurses, other healthcare professionals to get them to the shifts the clients/facilities needed.

Schedule:

Saturdays & Sundays, 6am to 8pm, Central Standard Time, USA - (If you do well, we'd like you to cover Mondays as well)

All Set Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Scheduler. As a Healthcare Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the staffing needs of healthcare facilities are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and schedule healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and other allied health professionals, to fulfill the staffing requirements of various healthcare facilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare facility managers and administrators to understand their staffing needs and develop a comprehensive staffing plan.
- Utilize scheduling software or systems to manage and maintain accurate schedules for healthcare professionals, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in staffing requirements, such as sick leave, vacation requests, or unforeseen events.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding their assignments, schedule changes, and any other relevant information.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and onboard new healthcare professionals to meet the staffing demands of healthcare facilities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal regulations related to healthcare staffing to ensure compliance in all scheduling activities.
- Provide excellent customer service to healthcare facility managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders involved in the scheduling process.
- Generate reports and analyze data related to scheduling activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in healthcare scheduling or a similar role, preferably within the medical staffing industry.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare professions and their respective certifications and licensures.
- Familiarity with scheduling software or systems used in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining schedules and records.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals, facility managers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Texas state laws and regulations pertaining to healthcare staffing is a plus.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using computer applications such as Google Workspace.
