JOB OVERVIEW

We are a full service digital agency looking for a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join as a central member of the team. You will be working creatively on a variety of exciting client projects including: ad campaigns, brand development and website design. The agency works with global corporations and SMEs here in the UK. With corporate clients, you will collaborate with large teams, including senior designers and multiple stakeholders, while ensuring that strict branding regulations are adhered to. With smaller clients and SMEs, you will be expected to take ownership of the design brief yourself and use your creative freedom to meet the client’s marketing objectives. The successful candidate will be working very closely with the senior project stakeholders client side, as well as the internal content team and developers. For all of our clients, the internal rigo team collaborates to workshop ideas and concepts to find the best options for the client. Alongside the client work, you will lead the visual side of the agency’s own brand development, workshopping new campaigns, website improvements and new business pitches. We are looking for an extremely creative and ambitious individual. Your talents will shape the marketing campaigns of high profile businesses and up and coming SMEs. For the right individual, this will develop into a chance to take shape the agency’s design team as the business grows, collaborating with local and international colleagues and clients to support and inspire your teammates. Responsibilities Delivering client work to existing briefs and brand guidelines. Work includes brand building, brand assets, website concepts, wireframing, Facebook ad design, landing page design, email marketing design, deck design and data visualisation. Managing internal brand guidelines and ensuring consistency of design while developing new creative assets Managing and growing a Figma component library in conjunction with a Senior Developer Collaborating on proposals for exciting new business pitches Working closely with partner agency’s creative director to manage weekly design requirements Regularly attending team workshops to develop creative content for rigo and our clients Creating briefs and managing creative suppliers, including photographers, printers and UX specialists Presenting concepts to stakeholders, internal and client side as projects develop Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and design processes and sharing insights with the team where relevant Collaborating with printers, copywriters, illustrators, photographers, web developers and marketing specialists as projects develop Required competencies and experience - Working to deadlines, handling multiple projects and prioritising - Excellent working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Other programs are a plus. - Understanding/dissecting complex briefs - Flexible working style including working independently, taking direction from senior designers and supporting junior designers - Collaborating with web developers to meet their requirements - Good understanding of brand identity development - Ability to build brand guidelines - Strong concept development skills - Photography/graphics art direction - Proven organisational & scheduling skills - Excellent attention to detail - Some agency experience - Good English speaking The company is based in the UK and follows UK working hours, with an established development team based in the Philippines. You would be required to be available for briefing sessions to help support with live projects. There is a Monday meeting held at 10.00 am UK time where agendas and weekly priorities are set.
