Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sr. DevOps/SRE Engineer with expertise in Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) and a focus on Azure DevOps and Azure Application Insights. Your role will involve ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications by leveraging Application Insights and implementing SRE best practices. In this role you will:

* Implement and maintain Application Insights for monitoring and analyzing application performance
* Automate processes / workflows with PowerShell (A must)
* Design and optimize application infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and performance (Terraform, IaC, PaaS)
* Collaborate with development teams to integrate Application Insights into the application codebase
* Configure and fine-tune alerts and notifications based on performance metrics and thresholds
* Conduct incident response and root cause analysis to identify and resolve application issues
* Implement and automate remediation actions to improve application reliability
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement SRE best practices
* Drive continuous improvement by analyzing metrics and identifying areas for enhancement
* Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to SRE and Application Insights

The basic requirements for this role are:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Service Reliability Engineering
* Strong expertise in implementing and managing Application Insights for monitoring applications
* Experience in designing and optimizing application infrastructure for reliability and performance
* Proficiency in incident response and root cause analysis methodologies
* Hands-on experience with automating remediation actions for improving application reliability
* Solid understanding of SRE principles and best practices
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills specific to application performance and reliability
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Relevant certifications in Azure, DevOps, Terraform are a plus
