Profile Description

I'm a Senior Accountant working for Lexis Nexis at Reed Elsevier Shared Services Philippines. I'm currently the SME for various process which includes Treasury (performs Bank Reconcilations for different bank accounts), Fixed Assets & Project Accounting (maintaning the Fixed Asset register or Property Ledger for various assets, recording capitalization and depreciation of assets, capitalization of project costs and preparation of project reports for project managers), and Overheads Accounting (includes analysis and recording of expenses and accruals).
Aside from recording journals during month end, I do prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations monthly, and assist in the preparation of Forecast quarterly.
I was also the superuser when we migrated our system (Peoplesoft) to the a new version.
In my previous jobs I also experienced preparation of cheque payments and recording of receipts.
Based from my experience I learned how to multi-task and to manage my time properly. I consider those as my strengths along with being a team player and fast learner.
I am looking for a job which can help me enhance my learnings and skills while giving them the best that I can be.
