Creative storytelling is my passion. Aside from editing videos, I'm also a creative writer who likes to play with words. I love the idea of combining visuals, words, sound effects, and music to tell a cohesive story. This is what made me passionate about video editing. Watching and listening to real stories of real people inspires me, that's why I considered wedding films as my niche. I enjoy weaving soundbites and audio clips to create a compelling narrative based on people's personalities, relationships, and journeys.
I work as a remote and freelance video editor with more than 7 years of experience in wedding videography, video editing, post-production, and social media management. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology so I have a good background in Multimedia. I've worked remotely even before the pandemic with other international post-production companies and clients before.
Aside from video editing, I also have a background as a Multimedia Virtual Assistant and a Social Media Manager for business coaches and real estate agents so I'm already comfortable with leadership roles as well as managing people. I'm open to any offers and jobs available that might be a good fit for me and my skills. I'm willing to work full-time remotely.
Adobe Premiere is what I mainly use for video editing. I have a Dropbox subscription and fast internet so there won't be any problems sending or receiving big files. I can also color grade and sync audio efficiently.
I'm versatile, a fast learner, a problem solver, an independent thinker, and also willing to be trained and keep on learning so I can easily adapt to any client's editing style and preferences. Building a good relationship with the people I work with is really important to me so I make sure that I deliver my outputs on time and efficiently.
I am confident in the kind of value I could bring to my clients. With my years of experience, a wide range of skills, creativity, and English proficiency, I believe I'm a rockstar VA and not easily replaceable. I hope to meet someone who will take a chance on me again and have a long-term business relationship.
In my leisure time, I'm a pop-culture enthusiast, a gamer, and a retro console collector as well. Currently, my passion project is working on my own brand as PastelRetro GameGal. I enjoy restoring and designing old Gameboys and other retro handheld consoles as another creative outlet.
Whether in digital form or something that would literally get my hands dirty, I just love creating and I hope to meet someone who also shares the same passion and would be able to appreciate and see the value in the variety of skills that I have and would give me a chance to work and partner with them for their business.
