Profile Description

I am a Communications Arts graduate, and worked as an English teacher in Europe. After which, I worked as a freelance writer before getting in one of the most prestigious law schools in the Philippines. 

I then finished my Juris Doctor degree in 2014, and took the bar exams that same year. I passed in one take, and worked for over 2 years in a young and dynamic law firm handling various civil and criminal cases, intellectual property and corporate matters, among others.

I have experience in various forms of writing, both in a casual and in a legal manner. I have litigated and appeared in courts and administrative agencies, crafted legal pleadings, and successfully overturned a Supreme Court decision involving GMOs in the Philippines. During my time as a freelance writer, I also successfully marketed and established the now-defunct Upgrade to see actual info.

I am a techie person and can spend hours discussing Wordpress, Photoshop, and even various gadgets to others. My friends consider me as their go-to person whenever they have questions that are of technical matter - and of course, when they have anything legal to ask me.

I am quite independent, and love learning new stuff on my own. If given the opportunity, I am looking for a long-term employer (or partner) so I can be a lawyer and work remotely without having to go through the everyday Philippine traffic.
