Before that I was with an Australian media company, Key Media, as Accounts Officer. I'm handling various accounting transaction for three of their offices (Australia, New Zealand and Singapore), from AP, AR, bank transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, commissions, budgets, etc. I'm directly reporting to the company's Finance Controller whose based in Australia. Familiar with GST and Superannuation but far from expert. Before that, I worked for an American company who has office in the Philippines, as AP Accountant.
I've also worked in Singapore for 4 years as Accounts Executive
for a well-known local pest control company. I started as billing executive during my first year, who mainly processes and issues big volume of clients’ invoices. Later, as I have proven my capability, I also became in charge of credit control, petty cash transactions, payments from clients and payments to suppliers, bank reconciliation, general ledger updates and audit reports (for auditing purposes). I also assisted in quarterly GST submission, maintaining customer data base, monthly reports to Managers, budgeting and forecasting.
I am familiar with a few accounting systems. I've used Microsoft GP, QuickBooks, FACTS, Oracle and SAP
(had a formal training for SAP B1 Logistics and Accounting). So basically, any new systems will be very easy to learn to.
I'm looking for a home-based job (part time, but full time may do as well) so I can save time and avoid stress from commuting and traffic here in the Philippines.
