I am currently tenured as a DevOps Engineer for a US-based company, mainly working on CI/CD automation for app development based on Git and Cloud infrastructure (AWS). I have also been working as a Python API Developer using mainly FastAPI library and Flask.
I was previously working as a Data Engineer for Data Science processes at a cyber threat intelligence provider based in the US. With multiple years of professional experience as a programmer and data science general practitioner, I have developed an extensive skill set specializing in end-to-end data analysis. Coupled with my academic background in both social sciences and finance, I am capable of demonstrating working knowledge over a wide range of fields spanning from data gathering and evaluation, financial/market research, extraction, pre-processing, and analysis. I also have experience developing and maintaining business-side software (particularly web-based), highly immersed in cloud services (AWS) in terms of software deployment and integration.
With regards to my technical skills, I am highly proficient in office suite applications (e.g Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Office Suite) as well as web-based applications such as social media sites, video-conferencing software, cloud-based storage, etc. More importantly, I also possess intermediate to advanced knowledge in Python, as well as other web development tools such as HTML, CSS, React.js, among others. I have a working knowledge with both SQL (MySQL, Postgre, MariaDB) and NoSQL (MongoDB) DBMS. Lastly, I am well-versed with statistical and to an extent, machine learning, concepts in relation to exploratory data analysis and data visualization (Python-based).
I am relatively new in the field of home-based outsourcing.
I believe it is a unique and effective business model for both the employer and the freelancer in terms of cost-effectiveness and maximizing income opportunity, respectively. Given the right opportunity, I am most certainly willing to transition into a full-time online freelancer.
