With my previous job in the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE), as a research specialist, diverse stakeholders (internal and external) needs to be dealt with. That's why, I was able to improve my skill sets which comprise of the following, among others: (1) Communication (i.e., verbal and written), (2) time management, (3) analytical and clerical, (4) administrative and logistics, (5) flexibility and adaptability, (6) ability to handle stress and use it as a motivation to complete the work/project/assignment.
In our daily work assignment, we are using the typical means of communications we used nowadays, i.e.,
Database management is also crucial in performing our tasks very well. Data and information coming from the energy stakeholders, in an hourly, daily, monthly and annually basis, especially in the Philippine electric power industry, would need to be gathered and analyzed. These comprised of historical data, actual electricity demand and supply, number of customers, infrastructure and capital expenditures projects, among others.
DOE, as a National Government, covers the nationwide policy and supervision of the energy of the Philippines. On this note, I was trained to facilitate workshops, meetings, information and education campaigns, forums, etc. all over the country which needs much travelling. These travels would mean logistical requirements like hotels, transportation, meals and others that needs to be secured by us as well.
Working, at same time earning at home, is child-hood dream. Should you want to have more information about my credentials along with my other expertise and experiences in my current work now, I am more than willing to discuss it with you.
