As the Accounting team leader, our accounting system allowed me to review the company transactions before posting them and generating the financial reports. Also, I was able to report to the Management the fluctuations or movements in the company's accounts to help them understand the financial reports.

Having an opportunity to work in corporations under the Real Estate and Retail Industry as their accountant, I was assigned to keep track all the company's transactions and generate financial reports, and discuss to the Management the financial results.

At Deloitte Philippines, I had the opportunity to gain auditing skills and to work with different teams. Also, at Commission on Audit, I was assigned to conduct financial and compliance audit of the assigned government agency . Moreover, I was able to improve not just my auditing skills but also my written communication skills.

As Revenue Assessment Officer at Bureau of Internal Revenue, I was able to learn the different tax laws, rules and regulations in the Philippines. My former position allowed me to conduct an audit and examination of the books of accounts, financial statements, etc. of the different sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations within the assigned jurisdiction.
