Let me tell you something about my working experience as an Amazon Virtual Assistant for the last 3 years. Before I became an Operations Manager, I started as a product sourcing person for this Amazon seller for about 3 months. While sourcing products for the company, I slowly recognized that we are having an issue with absenteeism, my fellow VA's are always not around and the problem is we all have different tasks from each other, so if one is not around our progress every day as a team will suffer. At that Upgrade to see actual infont I saw an opportunity to learn a new skill, so I proactively asked my boss (the owner) to send me modules about how they do their daily tasks so when they are not around I can always fill in for them and our progress won't be affected too much. I have done that for a few months until my boss recognized that I can be more than what I am, so she promoted me and let me hire someone new I can train for my previous tasks. We started with 3 VA's and we grew it to almost 15 now with some part-timers. And I helped her handle the team until this day. I can say that I have very extensive knowledge of the day-to-day operations in Amazon, I can recognize small issues that can escalate to bigger problems if not caught early, I can manage and guide a team. Even though I have this experience, I know that there is still a lot to learn as Amazon's algorithm changes from time to time and sometimes without notice. I am a goal-oriented person, I do my best in every situation to come up with great strategies to make sure that the outcome will be as close to perfect as it can be.
