Profile Description

I have worked as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant (HVA) for over a year. In this role, I utilize my nursing expertise to support healthcare providers remotely, ensuring that administrative tasks and patient communications are handled professionally.

My responsibilities include managing medication refills and processing prior authorization requests for medications. 
I ensure that patients receive their medications on time and that all necessary
approvals are obtained from insurance companies.

Referral management ensures that patients are directed to the appropriate specialists or services, manages the flow of information between providers, tracks referral status, and facilitates communication to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care.

Fax and Electronic Health Records (EHR) Management.
Checking incoming faxes, which may include important medical documents, and ensuring they are accurately uploaded into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This helps maintain up-to-date patient records and facilitates seamless communication within the healthcare team.

Laboratory and Radiology Orders
Experienced in managing lab and radiology orders.
Skilled in ensuring accurate and timely submission of orders, coordinating with medical staff, and maintaining clear communication with patients.
