E-Commerce Specialist

Brand management has been my top priority as the sole proprietor of an online shop. I focus on building a strong brand to foster customer loyalty, which in turn boosts repeat sales with minimal to no marketing efforts.

After facing several tax penalties over the years, I decided to study in great detail the ins and outs of tax compliance in the Philippines. Now, my calendar is packed with tax deadlines and reminders to keep everything on track. I even take the initiative every January, to request a review from the government to confirm that all my tax remittances are up to date.

My proudest leadership experience was when I became the captain of two dragon boat teams: my local club team and the Philippine selection team. The athletes in these teams aren’t paid like employees, so it’s tougher to give them orders. But by leading by example and motivating them with passionate words, I was able to inspire both teams. This experience showed me that leading a salaried team (like in my business) is easier than leading athletes who are driven solely by passion.

I started diving into Final Cut Pro (FCP) during the pandemic in late 2020, when casting directors required us to do self-tape auditions. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. Now, I use FCP to capture and enhance my dragon boat experiences too.

I use Microsoft Excel every single day, without fail. It’s my go-to tool for everything: tracking personal expenses, gathering click data for my business ads, and even comparing sunscreen prices across 20 different brands with various SPFs and metrics like milliliters and grams.

I started adding captions to my videos after realizing that many of my deaf friends were watching my content. I may not be able to learn sign language right now, but captioning my videos lets me include them in my journey.

My default mode is to overthink scenarios. This has led me to develop systems for both my business and daily life. These systems help me manage risks and avoid failures, ensuring my outputs and decisions are always top quality.

During my time as captain of both my local dragon boat team and the Philippine selection team, I coached around 50 athletes, helping them achieve peak fitness. Our hard work paid off with 4 gold medals and over a dozen silvers and bronzes.

I started using Adobe Photoshop out of vanity, just to remove blemishes and stray hairs from my portraits. Now, I use it to create product posters and promotional materials for my business.
