Here's my story so far…
Months before COVID became a buzzword, I turned my back as a Sonographer of 10 years.
Why is that you ask?
Because just like any person within my age range, I was also struck by this nagging feeling that I am wasting away the best years of my life inside a 9 to 5 job. Don't get me wrong, I loved being a Sonographer, but I also yearned for the idea of being able to be free from the four corners of the clinic I worked in.
So I filled my resignation, started doing freelance VA tasks - and then COVID broke.
The medical professional in me was concerned, but the core of my being told me to soldier on and look at it as an "opportunity".
So here I am, two years into my new career as a VA - happy and void of any regrets.
