Digital Marketing Specialist | Sales Specialist

I have a 5 years experience in the publishing industry as a sales specialist. We do cold calling and mine our own lead if need be. For me, publishing industry is one of the "hard-core" sales there is next to trading. In my 5 years experience, I am proud and confident to say I always hit my quota from $3000-$30000 paid sales per month. But even if I was still a technical support in the past, I would always excel when there's an availability to do upselling.

I have mainly worked as a marketing and a publishing consultant from a publishing firm for 5 years now. Our main goal is to sell marketing and promotional materials to our clients so you can say that my area of expertise is at sales. However, I strongly believe that to become effective in sales, you need to know exactly the products you are selling. This is where my experience in digital marketing comes. In order to close a deal, I need to go through series of brainstorming to my prospect clients so I will know exactly what they need. I would work with them with their branding, marketing strategies, data analytics and so much more. But since the goal was to close the sale, I need to focus on my salesmanship skills. So you may say that my knowledge to digital marketing is basic but I don't want it to stop there. I want to expand my knowledge in this industry because I felt that this is where I can maximize my full potential. In addition to this, I have taken paid online courses specifically on Social Media Management course. I have knowledge in graphic designs, basic video editing, hashtag research, content calendar and proficient in basic social media platforms.
