VA Bookkeeper

I work as a US based client's Freelance Bookkeeper for almost 3 years already. This role has allowed me to expand my knowledge and explore accounting further. The Bookkeeping training and QuickBooks certification I obtained have equipped me for this job, and my client are very satisfied with my work. Working with multiple US clients, I was able to specialize in bookkeeping real estates including Fix & Flip, Buy and Hold, Wholesaling, Wholetailing, Seller Financing- Installment Method, AirBnb, Property Management, and VRBO. The tools that I mainly use are QuickBooks Online, QBO Online Plus Certified,SAP BusinessOne and I used other softwares/ platforms that mostly related to what our clients used. like Appfolio, Gusto, and Barter.

At Ernst and Young Global Delivery Services (EY), one of the Big 4 accounting firm, I served as an External Auditor. I managed clients primarily from the Oceania Market, mainly clients from New Zealand and Australia, with additional experience handling clients from the Asia-Pacific and Europe regions. Starting as a staff auditor, I promoted to the role of Senior Auditor. My responsibilities included conducting walkthrough procedures, testing controls, performing test of details, other substantive procedures, and assisting in developing strategies to mitigate risks for our clients. This role not only ensured the fairness of clients' financial statements but also aided their investors in decision-making processes. It sharpened my attention to detail and honed my time management skills. Moreover, it provided me with the opportunity to oversee multiple staff members, assisting them with their tasks and verifying the accuracy of their work. Checking their work on a daily basis.
