- Provide healthcare providers or their assistant information regarding their patients claim status - if its denied, I educate them the denial reason and advise them what to do next in order to get their services paid. If the claim was paid, I just provide them the payment details - how much the company paid and how much is their patients responsibility. - I also provide Prior authorization status. If it was approved, I give them the details like the duration, what type of services were approved and if it was denied, I give them detailed instruction regarding the procedure code that was denied and how to correctly submit documents in order for the service to get approved by our Authorization department - Also helped with the providers grievance and appeal application status.
