My Duties and Responsibilities : o Entering all transactions into the accounting software (QBO / Xero) o Reconciling bank and credit card accounts o Entering accrual and deferral adjusting accounting entries o Entering in complicated journal entries that require intelligent thinking o Preparing month end reports o Analyzing Income statements by class and month-over-month, investigate errors and make corrections o Analyzing balance sheets month-over-month, investigate errors and make corrections o Monitoring bank balances to ensure there is enough cash to cover monthly expenses o Managing and processing accounts payable o Interacting with the team through Slack, Trello, email, Skype or Google Hangouts o Communicating directly with clients via email o Keeping track of monthly, quarterly or annual deadlines (using Google Calendar and other tools) o Sorting and filing documents in Google Drive (or Google Drive File Stream) o Innovating and make suggestions on how to improve our workflow / accounting systems o Other duties as they come up
