Bookkeeper

● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills ● Prepares and submits financial statements with all the necessary attachments, notes, and schedules. ● Assist in preparing the annual balance sheet budget and the yearly P&L budget. ● Ensures a daily balancing of all accounts in the financial statement. ● Reconcile interbranch transactions. ● Reviews/ verifies and certifies the correctness of cash disbursement vouchers in conformity with the documents submitted. ● Reviews/ verifies and certifies the correctness of the receipts that the collectors and tellers enter into the system. ● Assisting with month-end close procedures ● Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations ● Assisting with the preparation of financial statements ● Providing support for internal and external audits ● Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures
