Working for more than nine years for a number of BPO companies here in the Philippines, I have developed and acquired certain skills which I have been using to meet what the clients are looking for in an employee. I have helped numerous people as well in achieving their dream jobs by setting a good example to them being both a team player and a team leader. Listed below are some of the requirements I was able to meet with my past jobs:
• Attend to live calls for health plan account holders answering questions about their monthly bills, co pays, co-insurances and the likes. Help them in processing payments for their monthly premiums over the phone or giving them directions on how to do it online. Most of the time, providing utmost patience with members over 60 years of age because of their health condition and various emotional states during each and every call.
• Processing end to end orders for a Schneider Logistics, a company based in the US for their Intermodal services. Knowledgeable in using COM (Customer Order Management) to ensure deliveries are met timely. Processing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders for faster dissemination of information for orders/ freights that needs to be picked up and delivered as soon as possible.
• Answering calls for a telecommunications company based in the US wherein you have to provide account holders with the breakdown of their monthly bills and in the event that there are discrepancies, offer the best resolution to avoid conflict and provide some added services for their satisfaction. Properly documenting each call is a must to ensure that all inquiries are addressed accordingly.
• Handling phone calls to assist customers on how to create a resume online which requires patience in giving directions on how to use the online tool and helping them how to manage their monthly payments for their plan. This, together with answering over 40
• Leading newly hired professionals from about 15-50 individuals with various past work experiences to be skilled employees and provide excellent customer service for about 2 years helped me build trust in every individual’s working capabilities as well.
• Manage a team composed of 10-18 individuals for 3 years, taking in calls and resolving customers concerns all at the same time and helping them daily to have a proper work-life balance helped me appreciate every job every single day.
• Performing online screening for potential staff members, interviewing for recruitment process and manage on-boarding for new member of the team as a Recruitment Specialist and managing basic training for the new staff member as a Project Manager for 4 years now has been a great opportunity for me to help out people wanting to land a job.
