As a general ledger specialist , I am responsible for maintaining general ledger entries and reconciling financial statements. Furthermore, I also ensure that ledger data is accurate and precise. I make sure that there is always data accuracy, I also analyze financial information such as monthly income statement and contribution margin. I also support monthly and annual close processes, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, assist various departments in accounting issues and queries, support auditor in conducting internal and external audits and assist in tax preparation and filing activities. My key skills as General Ledger Specialist are being effective team player with ability to work under own initiative, strong computer skills especially MS office, critical thinking, budgeting and bookkeeping, mathematical skills, and attention to details.
Experience: 6 months - 1 year
As a General Ledger Specialist I also act as the companies bookkeeper. My main job is to maintain the book records and ensure that the necessary journal entries has been entered. I am also responsible for producing financial statements such as comprehensive income statement and contribution margin report for the management decision making purposes.
