Billing Representative - Non-Voice (Provider Services and Professional Claims): In my previous role, I was responsible for reviewing claims and requests for billing, meticulously identifying the necessary actions to resolve any issues. I would then forward the claim to the appropriate department for resolution. Once the issue was successfully addressed, I would take charge of rebilling the claim accurately and efficiently.
Account Receivable Specialist - Insurance Claims (CMS 1500 and UB04): As an Account Receivable Specialist, my primary focus was on calling insurance companies to follow up on claim statuses. I possess the skills to review and analyze claims thoroughly, ensuring all necessary information is provided. My ultimate goal is to maximize revenue by effectively navigating the intricacies of insurance reimbursement processes.
More than 3 years of experience in a BPO company, specializing in healthcare account management.
Proficient in handling professional claims (CMS 1500) as well as hospital claims (UB04).
Knowledgeable in working with commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare.
Familiar with HIPAA regulations and guidelines, although I do not hold a certification in this area.
