I began my professional journey in accounting as a bookkeeper at an accounting firm in the Philippines, where I spent two years gaining hands-on experience. During this time, I managed daily transaction recordings, including sales and expenses, handled tax filings, and prepared financial statements for clients. My second role was as a tax preparer in the wholesale and retail industry, where I was responsible for filing taxes and preparing the company’s financial statements.
Currently, I am working as a technician for a US-based accounting firm, where I primarily use QuickBooks to manage my clients’ bookkeeping. I also assist in the preparation of financial statements for annual tax filings and handle payroll, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
