As a customer service representative for four years in a BPO company, I have handled all types of calls, good or bad, you name it! My job was to provide resolution for the customer, a solution that not only works for the time being but also for a long time. I have dealt with technical issues inside the phone and with the carrier, and provided a walkthrough to customers who were not familiar with the products such as iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Android devices. I also handled escalated calls or supervisor calls if things got tough. Moreover, I handled callbacks to ensure that the resolution I provided is working and if the issue is resolved or needs more time in resolving.My previous job is where I started my work-from-home journey. I worked as an appointment scheduler for four months, but the client pulled out due to the lack of studies and workload that they were supposed to assign to everybody. I made cold calls and had to reach people to ask them if they wanted to join a clinical trial. If they agreed, I asked them questions to see if they were qualified. Then, I had to find an open slot to set an appointment for them to go to the clinic and be screened physically.
