This job makes me feel really special in so many ways and there's this feeling that you get when somebody from the other part of the globe thanks you and appreciates the help you've done for them.
The after sales service job from the business point of view makes the difference if customers will stay or leave. There are a lot of good products
and what you can buy from a store you can also find in another but what sets it apart is the after sales support they will be getting, this is what customers take into consideration seriously before buying anything especially high value items (cars, appliances, technology, services, etc.).
This said, the role requires a lot of patience ,effective communication and active listening, real empathy, organization of thoughts, reassuring statements, problem solving skills and many others that I continue to work on improving all the time and it served me well almost all the time.
Customer Service is a way of life and we all do it to everyone but to be good at it, one must balance himself as if he is in the customer's shoes and at the same time the business owner too.
