Profile Description

I am seeking employment at the Upgrade to see actual infont, either on site or as a freelancer. Attached to this application are my work samples plus some pictures to go with them. As part of my full-time onsite and remote freelance job, I am providing a comprehensive series of screenshots/images and verifications/proofs I thought and dUpgrade to see actual info some information would be redacted for the sake of privacy.

I had been in an office administration capacity for many years, where a lot of computer work was done by me as well. In particular, these involved Data Entry, Office Assistant / Support, Chat Assistant, Content Writing / Copywriting Audio / Video Transcription Document Management and Blog Posting Knowledge Base Creation. My AutoCAD competency is very basic, although I will be mostly focused on learning about as-built designs both in 2D and 3D through online training programs.

I have different software tools that I use across various platforms like Cisco Packet Tracer, MS Office, Radiant Photo Pro, VMware Workstation Pro, Sweet Home 3D, Octave, Face Retouching, AI-driven Text-to-Speech, Image Generation and Snagit Pro. I also worked with Adobe Acrobat to manage and edit documents. This was some time ago when I was working on my video editing projects with DaVinci Resolve. Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel with the formulas in spreadsheets for data manipulation in Microsoft Office. Not long ago, Wix web management gave me a tryout. In coding, PyCharm is my go-to, especially for python while Raspberry Pi Imager together with Arduino IDE gives me confidence in handling hardware and applications based on programming. For file conversion and YouTube videos, downloading and Wondershare UniConverter has been awesome, whereas amongst other contenders, ExpressScribe comes to mind as it’s the transcription tool that’s used by me most often.

As far as the digital wallet where I can receive money/payment, I am using legally registered/fully verified wallets with GCash Card, Maya Card, Union Bank Card, Payoneer Card, Remitly, Paypal, Binance ID/Email, Perfect money ID/User. These accounts are traceable back to my previous clients/customers because they are filled with all invoices indicating such transactions.

You can visit my Reddit account if you want to see how well I write. I still take part in that community because it helps me keep honing my writing skills. For a year, I was a copywriter; hence, you will find comments, suggestions, writings, and thoughts on different topics which I dUpgrade to see actual info to share with others. Other Skills

Experience: Less than 6 months

I worked as a freelancer doing transcription, and now I can still do it. Before, I worked with Appen on their China platform. They have two platforms, but I was directed to the EN Transcription. It's also included in my resume and work experience compilation with screenshots. Usually, the transcriptions I handle are general or academic. I tried working on legal transcriptions like hearings, but I found it challenging, especially when there are a lot of labels or speakers. I also have experience with CastingWords, but there are fewer clients requesting transcription here. Usually, the audio quality is very low, almost to the point where the voice is barely audible, and often it sounds like a robotic voice with fragmented output.

Experience: Less than 6 months

I have a lot of experience as a data entry specialist since I also took Computer Engineering as my course. Ever since my second year, I've been freelancing and balancing my college studies with data entry jobs. Usually, I work with spreadsheets and MS Office for data entry tasks. When I worked onsite as a Computer Publisher, I often entered data like vouchers and organized and monitored data using the built-in software of Santa Fe Relocation called Archive One. I also sorted out the entries made by indexers. Indexers are another position in the company responsible for typing vouchers per document into boxes. I monitored their input to ensure accuracy.

Experience: Less than 6 months

I have previous experience managing emails for the National Forensic Science Training Institute, and I believe I still have access to their portal because I am very close to the person who created the website for my former job. Typically, inquiries here are about the graduation dates of investigators studying at the institute, which includes members of the PNP, BFP, BJMPTI, CRIDEC, etc. Often, people do not know the exact dates for graduations and upcoming events, so I usually forward these inquiries to the Registrar, Ms. Che, who manages the schedule for these events. For major and confident files from other departments in the Philippines, I forward them to our Head Admin, Mr. Vergel Santiago, who then forwards them to our Executive Deputy Director. Additionally, I frequently use Google email and am active on my personal email. I am aware that there are various email management tools like Mailchimp, and now, email automation with workflow for email sequences is possible, although I have not yet studied it.

As a content writer, I also have experience in proofreading. I use various tools for this task. Typically, people use QuillBot and Grammarly, but for me, these aren't enough. Proofreading requires meticulous attention to each word, monitoring various aspects of each sentence, such as plagiarism and AI detection. I often use AI detectors like ZeroGPT, GPTZero, Copyleaks, and Undetectable AI to check my work. During my college days as a Computer Engineering student, we used 'Turnitin' to detect plagiarism in our thesis, and I used it before submitting our document. When I worked at Meerkerk, we used tools like Originality.ai. If the content detected as AI was above 50%, it was marked 'for revision' and needed immediate modification to ensure it was over 50% human-generated. Proofreading involves monitoring style, grammar, rephrasing per word, thesaurus usage, avoiding overused or repeated words, readability, clichés, diction, pronouns, alliteration, homonyms, consistency, acronyms, dialogue, pacing, and much more. There are tools to improve content, which often require a subscription before use.

When I worked as a Computer Publisher at Santa Fe Relocation, Quality Control was also part of my duties. I checked if their input in the program we used at the company was correct, especially the work of indexers and Q.A. Typically, the indexers would type around 2,000-3,000 documents, such as vouchers with examples like qas05, qas06, pam29, pam91, and so on. It was crucial that these vouchers were accurate and correctly labeled, as once I published them to the server, they would be distributed to various company sites, including international locations. If there were any errors, I needed to coordinate with our IT Staff, who would fix them using MySQL to track the incorrectly published data since I was the final processor of the documents before they were approved and processed by different Santa Fe Relocation companies. Furthermore, we had a QA team to monitor the documents, and if a scanner operator's scanned paper was torn, the QA team would rescan it. I was responsible for the final process and for monitoring our Q.A. team to ensure that they had thoroughly checked all the documents in each box. Sometimes, documents would slip through without being properly checked, so I would double-check them to enhance the quality of our services before publishing them to the server.

I self-studied AutoCAD in 2023. I have worked with both 2D and 3D designs, and I understand that the key to proficiency in AutoCAD is familiarity with commands and shortcut keys, as almost all commands have shortcuts that make the work faster. Additionally, I learned how to create my own macros. There are certain functions that you have to perform manually or click through, but with macros, you can record the input you want. For example, if I want to convert my design into a sketch, wireframe, or a solid white block, I use macros to change the design's environment or appearance using commands I've saved as macros. This reduces my work from around 30 seconds to just 2-5 seconds. During this time, my practice with AutoCAD using 3D involved working on as-built designs with dimensions. I found a Korean website with many sample 3D designs with dimensions, and I worked on those. I still have my sample files. However, when I applied for local jobs as an AutoCAD drafter, I found it challenging to find positions related to AutoCAD. Typically, employers here look for skills in SketchUp, Revit, SolidWorks, etc. This prevented me from improving or pursuing a career in AutoCAD, although I still know its functionalities and the capabilities of its tools.

In technical support, I have extensive experience providing support, especially in the companies I have worked for, particularly with computers and routers. For example, with routers, we often experience internet outages originating from the servers, so I manage the routers here since they are all on a single server. The companies I am referring to are NFSTI and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group. Usually, the routers here are on the same network, making them easy to manage. While I am not an expert Network Administrator, I am knowledgeable in managing routers and especially in repairing cables when there are issues, as I handle the repairs myself. Additionally, some people approach me to fix their laptops since many people today are not well-versed in using laptops properly. I also provide them with guidance, although I often do this as a service with fees for labor, but mostly I help them out as a favor. In freelancing, I sometimes teach others, and when I volunteered as an Office Admin at Beginnings Church, most of the volunteers were women and not very tech-savvy. I taught them to improve their skills, as they did not even know the proper use of the printer. Our printer at Beginnings is quite large and high-end, capable of printing or scanning A3 paper, etc. We often create flyers here, and I also handle the inventory, monitor the van, buildings, etc. As technical support, I teach many people, including our maintenance and utilities staff, who are always willing to learn if they are unfamiliar with something.

Regarding social media moderation, it's relatively easy to learn since the interface or tools used on social media today are not that complicated. The real challenge lies in engagement, specifically how to market the services, especially when the company managing the social media is related to products and services. There's a lot to handle, particularly if there are suppliers of the product, so sales, engagement, and how to promote the products need to be managed. Currently, in the Philippines, the most used platforms are Lazada and Shopee, and there are also emerging platforms like TikTok Shop and the trending Temu Shop. We rarely use eBay, Amazon, Etsy shop, etc. here. Additionally, the company's or business's social media page and website need to be well-organized, with accurate information that doesn't look like it's generated by AI. Validation is also essential, with pictures of satisfied previous customers and their feedback messages, ensuring we have their consent to post their positive reviews or feedback. If necessary, sensitive information can be redacted as long as the validation shows legitimate positive reviews. There's a lot more to handle on social media, such as branding and designs, but usually, there's a graphics designer in charge of the layout and designs, especially logos or information, to help increase sales.
