During her senior year at the University of Makati, Jas was one of the student filmmakers behind the production of the short film, Lababo (Kitchen Sink), which won the Grand Prize at the Viva-Pinoy Box Office (PBO) Digitales Short Film Competition. Lababo was also a finalist at the 8th International Panorama of Independent Filmmakers (Short Film Category) in Athens, Greece, and at the 48th Bilbao Film Festival in Spain, where it became the first Filipino short film to be nominated in the said competition.
As a producer for MAD COMM Co. Ltd. (Making A Difference through Communication), Jas edited the video documentary, Nurturing the Seeds of Cooperation, produced for the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications (ISAAA). This video documentary won the coveted OSIRIS Prize of the United Nations-Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO) at the 24th International Film Festival AGROFILM 2007, held in Nitra, Slovak Republic recently.Jas’ current post as one of MAD COMM Co. Ltd.’s producers has given her the opportunity to explore the different parts of the Philippines and invaluably learn from the different types of people she has interacted with, through the company’s different projects and productions. These experiences have also challenged Jas to discover her personal advocacies and passionately make a difference through her craft.
In 2013 She was the Editor of the Year in Christian Era Broadcasting Service International Incorporated. And in 2018 she edited some of the INCinema Episodes on INC TV which was awarded an Anak TV Seal. 
Jas graduated from the University of Makati where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting.
