Profile Description

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 11 years of combined experience in audit, finance and accounting.
My work as an auditor in one of the Big 4 accounting firms helped me build a solid foundation on accounting standards and gain understanding on the business of companies in different industries which range from manufacturing, real estate, healthcare and hospitality. Working in audit of investment funds, I have obtained an extensive insight on financial instruments and wealth management.
As an Accounting manager, I had hands-on experience on end-to-end accounting processes, which include, but not limited to, journal entry posting, account reconciliation and financial statement preparation. I monitored budgets and handled tax compliance. I developed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implemented accounting policies to improve operations within the department.
Working as a financial analyst, I was exposed to forecasting and analyzing sales, costs and margins.
As Team Lead of Revenue accounting, I improve revenue and analyze commissions. I am accountable for supervising a team of 2 and support the Controller and CFO in data management and analysis as needed in finance-related initiatives.
I am a highly motivated and self-driven individual, and passionate in advancing my career in finance and accounting. I have been known to be a fastidious person, a problem solver and have a proven record of exceeding expectations and performance. I also earned my Master of Management degree.
