Hello there! My name is Abby and I have over 8 years of experience as a data entry specialist. I am a detail-oriented and dependable team player who thrives under pressure. Recently, I completed the IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate course on Coursera and Business Analytics with Excel on the same platform.
Throughout the IBM program, I gained extensive technical experience through numerous hands-on labs that involved solving different scenarios. Moreover, I honed my skills in Python programming language and its libraries, including Numpy, Pandas, Rest APIs, and Beautiful Soup for data analysis. I also became proficient in SQL, gaining expertise in using different queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases.
In addition, I learned how to create impactful visualizations and present findings using appropriate charts and dashboards in IBM Cognos Analytics.
While in the business analytics course, I used Microsoft Excel to clean data by identifying missing values, removing duplicates, deleting empty rows, applying conditional formatting, using formulas (including vlookup, index-match, and aggregate functions), and performing what-if analysis. I also created spreadsheet models to analyze and make predictions using trendlines, which sharpened my problem-solving and critical thinking skills by solving different business scenarios.
Overall, I am confident in my abilities and eager to apply my expertise to any data-related challenge that comes my way.
