Profile Description

When I was young, it brought me joy to interact with other people. I always invite my friends to come to our place and it really made me warm to take care and ensure they have a great time with me. My mom has always been a great cook and a wonderful host. She knew that I have a passion for taking care of other people (like her) and she saw a potential that I will be successful in customer service.

I took up her advice and went to college for a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I graduated last 2014 with honors (Cum Laude). It was a great education for me as we had various levels of training specially for sales, marketing, customer service, and hospitality and was also given the opportunity to have a summer work and travel program in the States which helped me on my communication skills.

After my graduation, I started my career as an Events Coordinator. I always love to organize events and the challenge it brings. Working in hospitality specially in events trained me to be precise, have great eye for details, and be great problem solver. During events, there are unexpected situations that you have to resolve in realtime. I always find solution in any unexpected circumstances to ensure my clients have a wonderful experience with us.

For me, my goal is also to strive to improve. I was given an opportunity to work in a big local hotel chain here in the Philippines as a Banquet Sales Coordinator. For this property, I was assigned to more complex account (Corporate). The property is know for it’s conference function rooms where most of the conventions and meetings were held there for different Upgrade to see actual infot only handling the on-site events (performing all pre-event checklist to post-event checklist), I was also task to look for sales for banquet. With a target revenue to reach and also an event detailing to handle, it thought me to manage my time. Later on, I was promoted as a Banquet Sales Executive.

Last 2017, l had the opportunity to do a training in Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa in Georgia, USA. I was trained in Food and Beverage. Living abroad for a year was life changing Upgrade to see actual info helped me be more confident, be able to adapt to diverse culture, as well as being able to be resourceful.

After my training, I worked as a Conference and Events Account Manager and later on became a Sales Manager in a five star resort in Cebu. Working for events and sales with international food and beverage background, it molded me to be strategic, be excellent on my communication skills, be passionate in providing excellent customer service, knowledgeable for preparing reports, event orders and hotel system, and be detail oriented.

I also do freelancing for social media marketing and consultant for a fast growing cafe (Cooee Philippines and Cooee Tribe) in Cebu. I handle all social media content organization, prepare promotions that could increase cafe visit, analyze engagement data and build online community. Aside from the social media marketing, I work as a reservation consultant for a Australian Corporate Service apartments.
