Profile Description

SKILLS & DUTIES:

To execute link outreach programs by identifying, contacting and managing link opportunities.       To continually monitor & report on and the overall backlink profile vs competitors.       
To create content for blog posts, category pages and product pages. 
Collaborate directly with internal teams and subject matter experts to create high quality copy.     
To work with internal teams on on-site optimization.   
To support the general SEO activities including  ad hoc analysis, reporting, & optimization. 


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE:

Link Building

Ownership and development of the link building outreach program
Co-ordinate, execute and keep track of progress using SEMRush (or similar) tool
Identifying & implementing new link building acquisition tactics.
Ongoing analysis of competitor link building efforts
Directly liaise with external partners and manage link acquisition·       
Creating blog content designed to attract sessions & be ‘link-worthy’·
Ensure ‘white-hat’ link building tactics 

Content

Working with internal stakeholder to write copy for category pages, product pages and blog posts.
Support product content creation processes
Support product team with content

Optimization

Continual optimization of title, descriptions, heading and copy on a large-scale ecommerce site
Tracking and monitoring of the impact of changes to optimization 
Identify opportunities to improve optimization and drive additional revenue and sessions

Metrics & Reporting

Develop SEO reporting in google sheets & Google data studio
Update, monitor & report on linking building and other SEO activities. 

Continuous Improvement and Customer Service

Continuously review and identify opportunities to improve the business' processes.
Provide various administrative support to the Digital Marketing Team as required.
