Profile Description

I am a managing editor and writer for a magazine in the Philippines, where I conduct interviews and travel to meet government officials, corporate leaders, and prominent personalities. In addition, I work as an online English instructor for Japanese professionals, helping them improve their language and communication skills to promote their professional development.
I currently work as a ghostwriter and social media content creator for an American client who is the vice president of a mortgage company. The writing materials are intended for Forbes. These positions have further enhanced my expertise in digital content creation and high-profile writing.
Prior to these positions, I worked as a senior reporter at ABS-CBN, the Philippines' largest television network, for 20 years. While employed there, I honed my skills in news writing, meticulous reporting, and fact-gathering. During my time at the TV station, I also held the position of executive producer for a morning news magazine program. In this capacity, I was responsible for developing scripts for the hosts, coordinating guest appearances with prominent personalities, and drafting scripts for the show. With extensive desk editing experience, I have contributed to the production and writing of two news and public affairs programs at ABS-CBN. While working at the TV station, I was also a university professor for prospective broadcast journalists.
Before my tenure at ABS-CBN, I was a news writer at DYAF Radyo Veritas Bacolod and contributed to IBON Philippines, a documentary and news publication. I also served as Secretary for the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (Association of Broadcasters in the Philippines), where I was responsible for station managers' communication and meeting minutes.
