About my sales experience, over the phone and in person, I'm telling you, I've been thru both, I was a former sales representative of AT&T for years, it involves both direct selling to different kinds of new customers and upselling to regular, loyal customers. a little bit of technical support as well, given that I am offering services for TV, Phone and Internet. and in person, my first ever job is a promodizer of school supplies to each and every person who needs it that is technically everyone, I deal with clients and competitors every single day same as when I became a real estate agent for almost a year, selling condominiums in Manila, Philippines. Distributing flyers, hardcore selling, rejections here and there, standing for hours wearing heals and dress to kill that's all before I discovered that I have a talent to do it over the phone. Being a sales representative is a very challenging role, its not just about generating revenue for the company, doing follow-up calls, looking for possible leads, but you should consider yourself as a customer service representative and there are times as a technical support as well depending on what you are selling, your the jack and Jill of all trades.
