I am a BS Psychology graduate and is lucky to have landed in the Medical Billing industry. I have been working in this field for almost 10 years now. My expertise is in Contracting and Credentialing. However, I also have a fair amount of knowledge and experience with everything that concerns patient calls, payments and accounts receivables. As much as it is a bit scary sometimes, I believe that new tasks are additional knowledge and a way to learn more things. It gives me an edge to other VAs. That is why I always accept challenges to acquire new information. If others complain when transferred to a different department or when given an additional work, I see it as a way to better myself. Nothing is constant that is why we shouldn't be stagnant in our comfort zones.
Experience: 5 - 10 years
Working as VA for different positions and processes for almost 10 years.
