I have been working as a medical biller since 2020. I have worked with US home health and medical health. I have considerable experience specifically in processing, submission, and collection of medicare and other insurance claims. I am also familiar with managing insurance portals. I do insurance verification, checking eligibiltiy and benefits for medicare, commercial and medicaid. I do checking Authorization if the CPT code is require or not and also Referrals. Checking Provider if in network or out of network. make outbound calls to patients and insurance companies as needed. I have limited knowledge of coding as part of my task is to prepare bills and invoices for medical procedures and services.
