Profile Description

During my time as a Junior US Tax Associate at The Back Room Outsourced Professionals, I immersed myself in a comprehensive three-month program focused on IRS regulations and tax fundamentals. This involved preparing various tax returns, including Form 1040, S-Corporations (1120-S), Partnerships (1065), and C-Corporations (1120). I also worked as a seasonal tax preparer with small accounting firms in the United States, utilizing Drake, CCH, and ProConnect Intuit softwares to prepare U.S. tax returns and ensuring their accuracy through thorough reviews. In addition to tax preparation, I conducted training sessions on U.S. Partnership tax returns (Form 1065) and completed special projects involving Xero Conversion and Fixed Asset Conversion using Thompson Reuters software.
While working as an Area Accounting Associate at PJ Lhuillier Inc., I handled financial responsibilities for 80 branches. This included reviewing and approving reimbursements, cash advances, and payment requests, as well as recording entries for these transactions. I also had the responsibility of  reconciling operating expenses for the branches I managed and preparing computations for leases in accordance with IFRS 16. Additionally, I recorded accruals for year-end expenses and prepared 2307 forms for specific transactions.
My prior experience at Autohub Group Mindanao as a Dealer Management System Coordinator I honed my skills in handling different systems for various dealerships, troubleshooting system errors, generating reports, preparing financial statements, and conducting inventory counts.
